Henry Kissinger, secretary of state under Presidents Nixon and Ford, dies at 100

The diplomat, who dominated foreign policy as the U.S. extricated itself from Vietnam and broke down barriers with China, died at his home in Connecticut, his consulting firm said. With his behind-the-scenes manipulation of power, Kissinger ranged across the breadth of major foreign policy issues for eight restless years. He was 100. Read more.
